Welcome to Neonatal-talk
The neonatal-talk mailing list is primarily aimed at neonatal nurses
worldwide, but all healthcare professionals interested in the neonatal and infant paediatric field
are welcome to participate. The mailing list is devoted to the discussion of
neonatal and infant paediatric intensive care issues, including clinical practice, protocols, new
products, professional issues and the posting of surveys.
An analogous forum called NICU-net is also well established and is primarily
aimed at neonatologists, but all neonatal healthcare professionals are
welcome to participate.
The posting of commercial and advertising materials on neonatal-talk is not
permitted. Similarly solicitation for articles other than for Infant is not
allowed. List members posting such materials may be removed from the list.

Please do not use email providers which insert an advertising message at the
foot of each message, eg juno.com or greatnurse.com. Also do not use an
email programme which automatically creates an attachment of your message as
your message will be rejected.
It is not appropriate to put the text of a message into capitals - this is
the equivalent of shouting on the net and will offend recipients.
The list is designed to encourage open discussion of all neonatal and paediatric topics
between healthcare professionals of varying experience from many different backgrounds. Care
should be taken not to post messages which could be considered patronising
or abusive in any way.
